Imperial Grunts: The American MIlitary on the Ground

So far so good. Kinda reads like a military travel guide. Hasn't really kicked into high gear yet. I'd be reading it right now in fact but I just discovered there's a line back here like what we offer the guests. How come I didn't find out until tonight? Anyway, I'll read moire later. I'm only in the middle of chapter two right now where he is covering Southcom and Colombia. Interesting stuff. Apparently of all the Commands Southcom is, or was, the most provincial. Everyone learned spanish and started slumming it with the natives so they head to move the headquarters from Panama to Miami. DOH!

But so far so good!
